Responsibility
We focus on sharing our key sustainability challenges and are proud of the many ways we are responding. We focus on responsible environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) practices and performance, along with the tactics, activities and initiatives that support our efforts.
Not only are we focused on acting with integrity and protecting our people and the environment, we are also committed to protecting the interests of our shareholders. With a robust Code of Conduct in place that requires annual sign-off by all employees, coupled with annual financial statement audits performed by Ernst & Young LLP, we have an experienced and highly competent Board of Directors that meets quarterly. New Wave aims to ensure staff hiring practices consciously incorporate diversity elements, and we prioritize the engagement of Indigenous communities wherever possible. We are proud to report that, as of 2020, more than 75% of our employees are a visible minority, and more than 50% of our corporate head office employees are female.
At New Wave, we believe in doing the right thing, in the right way and to adhering to robust sustainability practices.
